Lavender Festival

Sarah R and I went to the Lavender Festival Sunday afternoon.  It was fun to see so many types of lavender and all the art and things people make with lavender.  Not to mentioned it smelled great everywhere we went! : )

As an added bonus, it was 7-11 free Slurpee day, so we each had a free Slurpee on our way out to Yamhill.

The festival is over for this year, but if you are interested in lavender, I think some of the farms do things year round, and have lavender available for purchase.  Follow the link above to get to the Oregon Lavender Association page.  They’ll have all the info you need.

It's just so pretty! What you can't tell from this photo is the large number of bees buzzing about.

This walk is lined with many varieties. It's neat to see them all in one place.

So lovely! That’s what I envisioned for the hillside at the cabin. So far, not so much.
